Resin Marbled Tile Magnet

I thought it would be fun to try different effects for marbling with EnviroTex Lite®.

Today I will share how easy it is to use Alcohol Inks with EnviroTex Lite® to create this stunning tile magnet.

Materials:
EnviroTex Lite®
Alcohol Inks: Denim, Silver
Tile, 2" x 2"
Mixing cups
Stir sticks
Magnet
Lighter
Painters tape
Craft glue
Plastic to cover work surface

Instructions:
 Gather your supplies.

Measure equal amounts of the EnviroTex Lite® resin and hardener into mixing cup.  Mix for 2 minutes and then, pour into a second mixing cup and stir for 1 minute.

Place the tile onto a mixing cup to lift it off the surface.  Pour resin onto the tile.

Add a couple drops of denim on top of the resin.

It is fun to watch how the alcohol ink drops spread...

Add a couple drops of silver...

Continue adding a drop at a time until...

you are happy with the results.

Use a lighter to remove any air bubbles that rise to the top, if needed.

Remove drips with a stir stick.  Let dry for 24 hours.

Glue the magnet to the back of the tile, let dry.  Now it is ready to place on your fridge or other magnetic surface.

I love how this turned out.  I will be playing more with Alcohol Inks and EnviroTex Lite® to create more projects.
